As the demand has increased, we have added a new style of pinion to our already vast range. We now stock 1 module pinions with a 1/8th bore, in sizes 12t - 16t. This range of sizes will be increased in the near future up to 20t.

To solve the problem of gears constantly stripping, RW Racing have produced a new gear set for the Schumacher Cougar SV, comprising a hardened steel one piece layshaft, an acetal gearbox idler and a 33t idler gear (32t & 34t also available). These are available in the UK exclusively through MK Racing. Give Mark a call on 0118 912 1020 for details.

Due to customer demand from around the globe, we have again increased the range of spurs we produce for the Schumacher Cat SX & Cougar SV. Just added to the current range of 78T thru 83T are the following,

Now that the Schumacher Cougar SV has been released, the demand for smaller spur gears has increased. Therefore, RW Racing has now added 78t & 79t to its spur gear range, which is now 78t thru 83t. Need sizes outside of that range, just let us know.

At RW, we are always looking to give you racers all the gearing you need for all circumstances. That is why we have just added the following sizes to our stock range

RW3200E - 32dp pinions with 5mm bore, 23t & 24t.
RW1MOD - 1 module pinions with 5mm bore, 10t.
RW06002.3 - .6 module pinions with 2.3mm bore, 9t, 10t & 11t.

At RW we are always trying to supply the racer with quality products to keep them going. The picture of the spur with this listing commonly fits the TOP Scythe and Photon but it also fits many other cars like the Tamiya Formula 1 and Yokomo Drift Cars. They are available in both 48dp and 64dp in all the same sizes as our standard spurs.

RW Racing have these new spur gears for the Schumacher CAT SX available now. The spurs are available in 80-81-82 & 83 tooth versions and are machined from black nylon which is supposed to be tougher than the white material used on the original SX spurs. Question - What do you do when you strip a gear and you can not buy a replacement as they are no longer made??

Answer - You call RW Racing!!

The picture on the right shows a striped gear which is no longer available. The customer had tried long and hard but could not find a supplier. The only course of action left was to have one custom made and he knew exactly where to turn - RW Racing. He is now running his car with a new, steel gear, which will last him forever.
